Your picture is bad because Comcast forces the picture to be bad even when not using the streaming app. They convert all but local channels to 720p and compress it down to a 3-4Mbps stream. Thats why almost every other option will have a better picture. The stream app also doesn't have Dolby 5.1 audio.
